Ornamental symmetry with an underwater hush. The motifs feel architectural—columns and filigree softened by tide—suggesting a lost place remembered through pattern and light.

Artist Statement
Inspired by the idea that a once highly evolved race of beings inhabited (Some say still inhabit) the oceans on Earth. This mystical place called Atlantis originates from the writings of the ancient philosopher, Plato. The legend comes from Plato’s dialogues, Timaeus and Critias, where he describes it as a powerful naval empire that attacked Athens and was subsequently destroyed by a cataclysmic event. Many historians believe Plato used Atlantis as a literary device to illustrate his philosophical ideas about ideal societies and the consequences of greed and hubris. If we look at what’s happening in the world today, it would be easy to see the similarities.
