Come join us for a super fun West African drumming class.
I’ve been teaching for over 30 years and I can tell you this…. It’s super fun and once you catch the djembe bug, you’ll never want to stop. Plus it’s healthy…. There are many studies on the health benefits of group drumming. Google that.
Group drumming is so good for you and its lots of fun when we play together.
$20 cash. Djembes available to rent ($5 for class) and to purchase.
Arrive at 5pm and join us as we setup for class. Class starts at 5:15pm. We will learn both dunun and djembe as we build these rhythms as an ensemble. You will have breaks to get to know each other as well. We end class at 6:45pm, breakdown the setup and leave the building by 7pm.

Martin Klabunde has been playing & Studying drums since he was 15 years old and made a full time living playing & teaching the djembe around the US and overseas for over 25 years. His mixed level classes are open to everyone and taught in an ensemble environment that allows for the students to interact with each other, have fun and experience the power of the djembe when playing with others.
